Do you have a showroom?

Yes. You can view wardrobe door systems, colours and finishes at 45 Fairview Street, Springvale. Our business and showroom are open Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM. Orders are supply-only; onsite measurement and installation are not included.

Can I view finishes and materials before I order?

Yes — visit our Springvale showroom Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM to view products, materials and finishes in person before ordering. We do not provide samples to take away or send out.

Do you offer supply-only wardrobes?

Yes. Direct Wardrobes is a factory-direct wardrobe manufacturer in Melbourne specialising in supply-only wardrobes, custom sliding doors, and pre-assembled internal kits for renovators, builders, and trade contractors.

Can I change my order after placing it?

Accepted Answer

Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your order. Once production has started on a custom, made-to-measure item, we may not be able to make changes.

Do you offer onsite measure and quote?

No, we do not offer onsite measuring or quoting. However, if you’re unsure, our team is here to help. Email photos of your wardrobe opening and any measurements you have to info@directwardrobes.com.au, and we can guide you through the measuring and ordering process.

How do I measure my wardrobe opening?

Measure the opening width at the top and bottom, and the height on the left and right. Enter all four measurements in the configurator and follow our step-by-step measuring guide before ordering.

What if I’m unsure about my measurements or have made a mistake?

We’re always here to help. Follow our measuring guide, and if you’re unsure, email info@directwardrobes.com.au with photos of your wardrobe openings and your measurements before ordering. Our team will take a look and assist as best we can. If you’ve already placed an order and noticed a mistake, contact us as soon as possible.

What if my opening is not a perfect rectangle?

Is there a minimum or maximum door size?

Accepted Answer

Panel sizing depends on the material and track system selected. Our configurator will flag if your measurements fall outside the standard range for your chosen style.

Are your mirror and glass panels safe?

Accepted Answer

Our Australian Standard safety glazing materials meet AS/NZS 2208, with glass and mirror panels selected in accordance with applicable AS 1288 requirements. Mirror panels feature shatter-resistant vinyl safety backing to help retain fragments if the glass breaks. Our products are supply only.

What is the difference between framed and frameless doors?

What are the turnaround / delivery times?

Orders are ready within 5–15 business days, depending on the size and complexity of your order. For factory pickup, we will email you back with your confirmed pickup day. In-stock hardware and components are typically ready for same-day or next-day collection.

Is installation included?

Our doors and internal kits are supplied only; installation is not included. We recommend arranging an experienced installer, joiner, renovator or handyman. Review the product specifications and installation guides with them before ordering.

How does delivery and factory pickup work?

We deliver within Metropolitan Melbourne only, excluding the Geelong region and regional areas, to your garage or front door only, for a flat $150 + GST ($165.00 incl. GST). Select METRO DELIVERY at checkout. Factory pickup from 45 Fairview Street, Springvale is free on weekdays (Mon–Fri: 8:30am – 3:30pm). For delivery outside Metropolitan Melbourne, including the Geelong region, regional Victoria or interstate, please contact us directly via our enquiry form for assistance and a custom freight quote.
