Frameless Style Sliding Wardrobe Systems

Frameless doors remove the visible aluminium border around each glass or mirror panel, leaving only a discreet edge profile so the material itself becomes the entire visual surface — the most minimalist option in our range.

What Makes a Door "Frameless"

A standard sliding door has an aluminium frame running around all four edges of each glass or mirror panel. Our frameless option uses a different frameless-style grip for a less prominent edge treatment. Ask us to show you the supplied grip before choosing.

The Minimalist Look

Because there’s no visible frame breaking up the surface, frameless doors give the cleanest, most seamless finish available, particularly effective with mirror (for the largest uninterrupted reflection) or a single solid glass colour. It’s the finish most often chosen for high-end, architect-designed interiors where visible hardware is kept to a minimum throughout the home.

Considerations

Our frameless doors use the same track system as our standard framed doors, with a different frameless-style grip. They are supplied for glass materials, not woodgrain infill. Aluminium side jambs are optional on both systems for a boxed, finished appearance. Contact us to confirm the finish and layout you want.

Frameless vs Framed

A framed door gives a more traditional, defined look and slightly wider material and colour flexibility. A frameless door prioritises a clean, uninterrupted surface. Neither is "better" — it comes down to whether you want the frame to read as a deliberate design line, or to disappear entirely.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are frameless doors more expensive than framed doors?

Frameless doors are $340 + GST per door ($374 including GST). Contact us with your opening measurements and selected glass finish to arrange your order.

Can I get frameless doors in a split-panel layout?

No. Frameless doors are supplied as uninterrupted glass panels only. Split-panel layouts and woodgrain infill are not available in frameless.

Is a frameless door as durable as a framed door?

Yes — the glass or mirror itself is the same safety-backed material used across our range; only the visible edge treatment differs.
